
LATIN AMERICA. Plaza Premium Group (PPG) has named David Thompson as Regional Director for Latin America, reinforcing the leading airport hospitality provider’s growth strategy in the region.
Plaza Premium Group Senior Vice President, Americas Pascal Belanger said, “We are delighted to welcome David Thompson to Plaza Premium Group.

With a career spanning 30 years, Thompson has established extensive expertise in commercial leadership, business development and airport management across global markets.
He most recently served in leadership positions in Brazil, overseeing commercial activities at eight airports and advancing revenue growth, route development and key partnerships.
With deep knowledge of Latin America’s airport ecosystems, strategic planning and stakeholder engagement, he is well-placed to lead PPG’s growth in the region, the company said.
Thompson’s remit covers PPG’s airport hospitality portfolio in the region, including lounge operations, meet-and-assist services, and food & beverage outlets.
His role also covers leading regional strategy, driving sustainable revenue growth, strengthening industry partnership and enhancing guest experience, while building high-performance teams to deliver the group’s objectives. ✈
