US. NARS Cosmetics, the Shiseido-owned makeup and skincare company, has announced the appointments of key three corporate positions.
Philippe Guitelmann, a well-known figure in the travel retail channel, is joining the company as Regional Managing Director, Europe; Tracy Dennis as Executive Director of Global Education; and Marina Brenner as Director of Global Marketing.

As Regional Managing Director, Europe, based in the UK, Philippe Guitelmann will be responsible for overseeing the European office and developing the presence of NARS throughout Europe. He will be reporting to Executive Director of International Sales Jacqualine Anderson.
He comes to NARS with over 14 years experience at Parfums Christian Dior in the travel retail sector, most recently serving as Regional Director, Asia-Pacific. His knowledge of general management, business development and sales & marketing will contribute greatly to his new position at NARS, the company said. Guitelmann is a graduate of Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris and currently resides in London.
As Executive Director of Global Education, Tracy Dennis will be in charge of all instore branding, the consumer experience, sales training programmes, and “communicating the philosophies and ideals that François Nars bestowed on the company at its inception”. She will be reporting to Vice President, Domestic Sales Kim Thomas and NARS CEO Louis Desazars.
Prior to joining NARS Cosmetics, Dennis spent her career in education and retail sales development with Estee Lauder, Lancôme and Clarins. Most recently, she served as National Training Director for Mana New York where she designed, developed and executed all aspects of corporate sales and consumer education. Dennis attended San Francisco State University and completed the Estée Lauder Corporate Executive Development Program at Oxford University and Vassar College.
As Director of Global Marketing, Marina Brenner will be in charge of monitoring the US and international markets as well as working with the Creative Marketing team on major strategic initiatives. She will be reporting to Vice President Global Marketing Barbara Calcagni.
Most recently, Brenner served as Director of International Marketing for MAC, prior to that as Global Marketing Manager for La Mer and as a Presidential Management Associate with Clinique. Before joining the Estée Lauder Companies in these brands, she was a consultant with McKinsey & Co servicing consumer products and retail clients in Greater China. She is a graduate of The Wharton School & The Joseph H. Lauder Institute, University of Pennsylvania from which she holds her MBA and MA degrees.
