Qatar Duty Free opens two new Armani boutiques in fashion first

DOHA. Qatar Duty Free has officially opened the first Giorgio Armani airport boutique in the Middle East at Hamad International Airport. The launch follows the September opening of the first Armani Junior airport boutique in the world.

“Qatar Duty Free welcomes these exciting new additions to the brand line-up at Hamad International Airport,” said Qatar Duty Free Senior Vice President Keith Hunter. “At Qatar Duty Free we are entirely focused on satisfying the needs of our passengers by hand picking brands that will go that extra mile and make the maximum effort to appeal to our travelling guests. Giorgio Armani and Armani Junior not only meet these expectations but surpass them on every level, as our guests will discover when they visit our new boutiques.”

The Giorgio Armani boutique offers ready-to-wear and accessories in 190sq m of space

The Giorgio Armani boutique covers an area of over 190sq m and is entirely dedicated to ready-to-wear collections and accessories for men and women.

The boutique, characterised by “a refined and intimate feel”, features brushed silk as the main material used. The walls are lined with special fabric panels and contrasting backlit onyx, while the floors are finished with beige polished stone and covered with large Armani/Casa greige linen carpets. The visually striking, shiny faux-finished ceiling is complemented by invisible down-lights that outline the space and spotlight the garments and accessories on display.

Qatar Duty Free offers 40,000sq m of combined retail, food and beverage facilities through 70 retail outlets and more than 30 cafes and restaurants at Hamad International Airport.
