INTERNATIONAL. The Moodie Report today celebrates the seventh birthday of its multi-media and business intelligence brand.
On 16 September 2002 The Moodie Report was launched as a free-of-charge 44-times-a-year PDF-based newsletter. The brand has since flourished to become the clear market leader in print (including a unique free-of-charge digital version), web, e-Newsletter and PDF report formats.
Last week saw record traffic levels generated on TheMoodieReport.com – dubbed “˜the website that never sleeps’. Precisely 47,717 page views (i.e. actual pages of the website opened) were recorded, generated from 25,962 visits and 21,746 users. Traffic on TheMoodieReport.com has been independently audited since its launch in early 2003.
Unlike all its print-dominated, subscription-based rivals, The Moodie Report continues to offer its free access model across all its media formats. Over the past seven years it has also pioneered the use of podcasting, blogging and video streaming in the travel retail media as well as revolutionising pictorial coverage of airports, stores and brands.
This year the company has significantly extended its market leadership in advertising terms – particularly in print, where it is now the dominant force – to reinforce its digital media strength.
