Red Bull Racing Eyewear hails growing brand awareness in Asia Pacific

Austrian eyewear company Michael Pachleitner Group, which manufactures and distributes Red Bull Racing Eyewear worldwide, has reported a successful week at the recent TFWA Asia Pacific exhibition in Singapore.

The company managed to establish 20 new contacts at the show, with new listings and partners for the lifestyle eyewear brand on the horizon.

Red Bull Racing Eyewear Travel Retail Sales Director Karl Stoiber said: “Further new listings on board Aeroflot, EVA Air and Ukraine International Airlines among others could be secured.”

He also noted that brand awareness in the Asian market has increased a lot in comparison to last year.

Besides airline listings, new airport shops could also be added to Red Bull Racing Eyewear’s portfolio, including Lenrianta in St Petersburg and Nuance’s Sun Catcher store at Zurich Airport.

Stoiber described the Asia Pacific as “a dominant force” in its travel retail business, and further negotiations in the region are already in motion. Openings have been planned in Thailand, Malaysia and India, with a focus on China.

Red Bull Racing Eyewear differentiates itself from competitors by positioning itself as a lifestyle brand, combining the technics of Formula One with fashionable colours and shapes that appeal to sporty and trendy consumers worldwide, the company said.
