Rémy Cointreau celebrates a century in a bottle at Heathrow

The centrepiece of the “˜Century in a Bottle’ display is an opaque black crystal decanter of Louis XIII Rare Cask

UK. UK. Super-premium Cognac Louis XIII de Rémy Martin is now present in all terminals at London Heathrow Airport, following its first appearance at Terminal 5 last month.

In co-operation with WDF, Rémy Cointreau Global Travel Retail is presenting Louis XIII in a dedicated wall display which is lit to display its Baccarat crystal decanters and premium red coffrets.

The centrepiece of the display, which takes the theme “˜A Century in a Bottle’, is an opaque black crystal decanter of Louis XIII Rare Cask, one of only 786 bottles in the world, in its metallic coffret embellished with the quatrefoil emblem of Louis XIII.

The only other airport in Europe which has an allocation of the coveted Louis XIII Rare Cask is Paris Charles de Gaulle. A small number can also be found in the private jet terminal at Moscow Vnukovo Airport, presented in association with Gebr Heinemann.

Louis XIII Cognac is a blend of 1,200 eaux-de-vie aged between 40 and 100 years, all of which come from the finest Grande Champagne vines in the Cognac region.

Louis XIII Rare Cask is a rare release drawn from a single cask whose strength measures a 43.8 degrees.
