Rituals expands travel retail footprint with London Gatwick boutique

The Gatwick opening ensures Rituals remains a key destination for travellers seeking gifts, indulgent products and moments of calm

UK. Rituals has bolstered its travel retail network with the launch of a London Gatwick South Terminal store.

Unveiled on 28 November, the opening offers the brand’s signature home and body collections amid a tranquil space for travellers to relax and shop.

As the UK’s second-largest airport, London Gatwick represents a key strategic location for Rituals. With growing passenger numbers and a diverse mix of domestic, European and long-haul travellers, the South Terminal store gives the brand an opportunity to reach a wider international audience and drive visibility.

In line with Rituals’ ‘Feel Good Experience’ philosophy, the London Gatwick boutique offers a highly immersive retail concept designed to encourage mindfulness and wellbeing.

Central to this is the brand’s signature water island, where trained staff guide passengers in sampling Rituals’ hero products. Customers are invited to explore different lines through textures and scents, creating a multi-sensory shopping experience.

The boutique also features a refill cabinet, where passengers can purchase replenishments for select products. When compared to buying a new body cream, for example, the refill option reduces CO₂ emissions by -38%, materials usage by -33% and water consumption by -24%. This innovative service highlights Rituals’ dedication to combining luxury with eco-consciousness.

Notable product highlights include the Amsterdam Collection, developed in collaboration with the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. This premium range blends Dutch tulips with Japanese yuzu, paying homage to the shared cultural history of East and West.
