Rituals targets restless sleepers with new ‘Ritual of Jing’ range

The Ritual of Jing was inspired by the ancient Chinese concept of ‘Jing’ which translates to calmness, stillness and tranquillity

Wellbeing brand Rituals Cosmetics has unveiled a new line-up of products that promote better sleep and relaxation. The Ritual of Jing — which was inspired by the ancient Chinese concept of ‘Jing’ or calmness, stillness and tranquillity — is made up of the Relax Range and the Sleep Range.

It is now available in worldwide travel retail.

“We’re confident that by incorporating The Ritual of Jing into their daily routines, travellers will be relieved of stress and able to unwind after a long journey” — Rituals Travel Retail Director Neil Ebbutt

The Ritual of Jing Relax Range offers a floral fragrance, made with lotus and jujube essential oils. It was designed to help customers minimise stress throughout their everyday routines.

For a relaxing morning routine, Rituals Cosmetics recommends combining the Foaming Shower Gel, the Body Scrub which is made with exfoliating bamboo particles, Body Cream, and Hair and Body Mist Fragrance.

Meanwhile, the other products in the range were designed to encourage customers to take restful breaks throughout the day. Highlights include the soothing Scented Candle, the Relax Tea which is infused with chamomile and verbena, the Hand Lotion, and the Relaxing Serum Roller, which is used as a 10-second stress relief practice.

The Ritual of Jing Sleep Range offers a relaxing lavender and sacred wood fragrance, which helps promote better sleep quality. The fragrance is made from calming essential oils and offers fresh citrus top notes, lavender heart notes, and woody musky base notes.

According to the brand, the Sleep Collection helps customers wind down in the evenings as part of a restful pre-bedtime routine. Highlights include the scented Massage Candle, Shower Oil, and Magnesium Bath Crystals, Foot Mask, Pillow Mist, Dry Oil, and Sleep Tea.

The massage candle features nourishing oils that promote better sleep, while the Shower Oil and Magnesium Bath Crystals are enriched with sleep-enhancing lavender and sacred wood.

The Dry Oil is used on the tips of the hair after showering, while the foot mask soothes tired feet.  The pillow mist helps create a relaxing atmosphere conducive for deep sleep, while the Sleep Tea — which has been infused with a lavender and valerian herbal infusion — should be drunk no less than two hours before bedtime.
