DENMARK. Copenhagen Airport will today open a new Pier C passenger lounge for business and leisure travellers.
Eventyr Lounge will be the first lounge located after passport control at the Danish gateway, and it will be set up to cater for passengers who want to work and those who choose to relax.
The 850sq m facility will provide seating for 200, multiple power sockets, iPads for printing boarding cards, a bar, and shower facilities. Eventyr will be operated by Menzies Aviation, which said it would like to stand out at Copenhagen for its food and beverage offering.

Menzies Aviation Station Manager Jakob Bo Andersen commented: “Our ambition is to have the biggest offering and to provide the best lounge food at Copenhagen Airport.
“And we also have a new wine concept: a “Vinotek” with a great selection of wines.”
From today, Copenhagen will have six lounges and its policy does not restrict use of the facilities to business class passengers or those with special tickets. The day rate to access Eventyr, which is located near gate C26, is DKK250 (US$35).
Menzies Aviation has an agreement with British Airways and is in discussion with several other airlines to offer their passengers access to the new facility.
Copenhagen Airport said 5,000 travellers use its lounges every day, a third of whom are leisure travellers. Around 50% of lounge guests have access through tickets bought with various airlines, according to the gateway.
