SWITZERLAND. Rosmarie Hunziker, one of the duty free industry’s longest-serving employees and a charming and indispensable servant of Weitnauer and then (the re-named) Dufry, retired yesterday after almost 40 years with the company.

Mrs Hunziker, the assistant to the CEO Julian Diaz and his predecessors, gave immense service to the company, serving it dutifully through several decades.

Dufry recognized her long service at a function yesterday. A spokeswoman noted: “Rosmarie has been with the company for almost 40 years and has seen the company transform into what it is today. She was always very positive and never looked back to the old days, always towards the future.”

The Moodie Report joins with the industry in wishing Mrs Hunziker the happiest, longest and most deserved of retirements.
