LATVIA. Amber Sky 2015, a travel retail event that gathers Russia, CIS and East European airlines, suppliers and distributors, will take place in Riga’s Radisson Blu Hotel Latvija from 16-20 February next year.
The event aims to highlight issues around inflight sales and services through conferences, workshops and a trade show.
The conference will concentrate on the Russia, CIS and East European regions, and will cover market trends, service and technology development, best practice and sales incentive programmes for crew, said the organisers.
The Amber Sky Trade Show will be held over two days. Organisers will provide each participant with a meeting schedule of 30 minutes, when airline managers and suppliers can discuss areas of potential cooperation.
There is also a cabin crew training element held over three days. This will focus on sales and service development, carried out using products provided by the suppliers, who will receive feedback from crew. There will also be an awards ceremony for crew at the event’s gala dinner.
Other networking events include a poker tournament, Karaoke evening and cabin crew uniform fashion show.
