Russian Standard Vodka partners with Maxxium España

RUSSIA/SPAIN. Russian Standard Vodka and Maxxium España have announced that they are entering into a distribution agreement in Spain. As part of the partnership, Maxxium España will distribute Russian Standard Original, Russian Standard Gold, Russian Standard Platinum and Imperia beginning 1 February.

Spain is one of the largest European markets for premium vodka, with seven-fold growth in the premium segment over the last five years.

“Spain is a strategic market for Russian Standard Vodka, and we are pleased to launch this partnership with Maxxium España, one of the country’s leading distributors,” said Russian Standard Vodka International CEO Chris Lucas.

Maxxium España is part of the sales and distribution alliance formed between Beam Global Spirits & Wine and The Edrington Group. Its portfolio includes four of the ten bestselling brands in Spain – Brugal, DYC, Larios and Centenario – and more than 20 international and national prestige brands, such as The Macallan, Jim Beam, Anis Castellana, Sauza and The Famous Grouse.

Russian Standard Vodka and Beam Global Spirits & Wine already cooperate in a number of international markets, including Canada, Australia, New Zealand and nine countries in Southeast Asia.
