UK. CSS Group has named Sharon Crompton as Managing Director, responsible for the oversight of both Compass Supply Solutions and Chichester Bonded Solutions.
Compass Supply Solutions is a UK-based drinks and ambient foods provider in the travel retail industry including cruise, airlines, airports, rail catering, hospitality and duty free shops.
Crompton joined CSS Group in May 2022 as Financial Controller and was later promoted to the role of Chief Financial Officer in June 2023.
Now as Managing Director, she is tasked with restructuring the business for long-term sustainability and achieving growth targets.
Crompton has experience working in diverse industries, including fast-moving consumer goods with British American Tobacco and in the maritime sector with BMT Nigel Gee.
Her strategic objectives for CSS include developing an ambitious-yet-sustainable growth strategy for both Compass Supply Solutions and Chichester Bonded Solutions.
Crompton is also working on boosting engagement with CSS clients and suppliers to foster long-term strategic partnerships.
