Shinsegae Duty Free launches Naul X Paul & Bani’s Art & Music Space

Paul & Bani enter their third artistic collaboration at Shinsegae Duty Free’s downtown store in Myeong-dong, Seoul 

SOUTH KOREA. Shinsegae Duty Free has unveiled an ‘Art & Music Space’ in collaboration with renowned Korean singer-songwriter Naul and the travel retailer’s recently launched characters, Paul & Bani.

This innovative space is open to the public throughout June in the Iconic Zone on the 10th floor of the Myeong-dong, Seoul store, offering visitors a distinctive blend of artistic and musical experiences.

Inspired by Naul’s popular YouTube music program ‘NA’MM’SE, Naul’s world of music’ (www.youtube.com/@NAMMSE), the Art & Music Space recreates the musician’s studio, allowing visitors to enjoy a curated playlist of soul, funk, jazz, pop, R&B, and AOR.

The space features Paul & Bani prominently, displayed with Marshall’s Major 4 headphones and Stanmore 3 Black Speaker. These products are available for purchase at Shinsegae Duty Free’s online mall (www.ssgdfs.com).

Naul’s latest single ‘Soul Pop City’ debuts tomorrow (4 June), following a special pre-release of his track ‘1993’ available at the Art & Music Space from 1 June.

A music video featuring Paul & Bani is being displayed on the Media Façade in the Iconic Zone, enhancing the audiovisual experience for visitors.

Throughout June, visitors can participate in exclusive events featuring Marshall speakers and goods. Additionally, exclusive merchandise, including T-shirts and stickers are available through Shinsegae Duty Free’s SNS events.

The pop-up space features high-quality furniture from Eastern Edition, reflecting Korea’s natural aesthetics with a modern twist. This collaboration follows a business agreement signed in February, marking a significant step in Shinsegae Duty Free’s art branding initiatives, the company noted.

Paul & Bani are characters created by Shinsegae Duty Free, embodying a love for travel, art, and music. These characters continually seek new inspiration and beauty, making them the perfect fit for this latest artistic collaboration, the retailer said.

Born in November last year, Paul & Bani’s first collaboration was with global brand Off-White (pictured below).

As its second endeavour, a signature fragrance was unveiled alongside Eastern Edition, described as Korea’s leading lifestyle brand.

Shinsegae Duty Free is inviting domestic and international visitors to explore the immersive Art & Music Space, blending high-quality music, art, and cultural experiences in what the retailer called an innovative and engaging environment. ✈
