SOUTH KOREA. Shinsegae Duty Free has today (25 September) launched Italian high jewellery brand Damiani at its Myeong-dong store in Seoul.

The retailer said this exclusive partnership represents a key step in an ongoing expansion of its luxury portfolio.
Despite global uncertainties, the high jewellery market remains robust, the company noted. This was reflected in Shinsegae Duty Free’s strong sales performance in August when the company’s high jewellery sales saw an impressive +50% year-on-year increase.
Shinsegae Duty Free expects a further surge in sales with Damiani’s launch coinciding with the peak wedding season.
Damiani – founded by Enrico Grassi Damiani in the renowned goldsmithing centre of Valenza, Italy – is recognised worldwide for its fine craftsmanship.
The brand has achieved widespread global recognition, having won the prestigious Diamond International Award an unrivalled 18 times.

At the Myeong-dong store, customers can explore Damiani’s most renowned collections. The Belle Epoque Collection features geometric designs with Damiani’s signature gold hues paired with diamonds, sapphires, rubies and emeralds. The necklaces are designed with adjustable chains for versatile styling.
The Mimosa Collection is inspired by the delicate mimosa flower, adding “elegance and sophistication”.
The Margherita Collection showcases daisy flower motifs adorned with diamonds and gemstones for a “timeless and striking aesthetic”. ✈️
