CHINA. Shiseido Group returns to the China International Consumer Products Expo [Hainan Expo] this week, showcasing 150 years of beauty innovation. Click here to read our On Location coverage of the event.
The Shiseido pavilion was officially opened by senior executives from Shiseido, alongside Hainan Province Vice Governor Ni Qiang on 26 July.
The Japanese prestige skincare company is presenting new products alongside beauty tech innovations from its 19-brand strong portfolio. These include prestige brands such as Shiseido, Clé de Peau Beauté, IPSA, Drunk Elephant and Nars.
Serge Lutens is one of the new brands being introduced at the event. The brand is debuting its Collection Noire and Gratte-Ciel perfume series for the first time at the Hainan Expo.
The brand was founded by perfumer Serge Lutens, who is a well-respected figure in the worlds of fashion and photography.
Sidekick is another new brand launching at the Expo. Sidekick is a premium hybrid Japanese skincare brand for men. The brand addresses specific skin problems for Gen Z Asian men, such as oily or dry skin. The brand is showcasing a line-up of eight products which address the diverse skincare needs of young consumers .
Finally, Shiseido is debuting beauty supplements brand INRYU, which improves overall skin health from the inside.
