
Shisha house Al Fakher will have a strong presence at the Middle East Duty Free Association (MEADFA) 2018 conference in Beirut on 19-20 November as a Platinum sponsor and exhibitor.
The company will also introduce new flavours for its molasses-based tobacco product at the event.
UAE company Al Fakher claims to have a market share of over 40% in shisha molasses. Its products are available in more than 150 countries as well as in airports throughout the Middle East.
Al Fakher has created a department focused solely on global travel retail and in turn has ramped up its promotions, including a rewards programme at Jordan’s Queen Alia International Airport in Amman.
In the tobacco category at Dubai Duty Free, the Al Fakher brand claims year-to-date growth of over +72.5% in volume and more than +88.3% in value.

“Together with our partners in GTR, our commitment is to drive profitability in the channel. With a new department dedicated to GTR, we continue to drive category growth in all GTR markets we are in today, while continuing to secure new points of distribution in new markets.”
Al Fakher will attend the upcoming TFWA World Exhibition & Conference. Head of Global Travel Retail Ziad Jabre, along with members of his team, will be in attendance to talk with prospective new clients.
