ASIA PACIFIC. Ever Rich Duty Free has extended its strong portfolio of Taiwanese drinks products with the launch of the 9 Year Old Kinmen Kaoliang Ever Reserve and a limited-edition OMAR single cask whisky selection from Taiwan Tobacco & Liquor Corporation’s Nantou Distillery.
Each is available at key airports in the Ever Rich Duty Free network.
The retailer said the releases “showcase the island’s craftsmanship, heritage and innovation”.
The Ever Reserve expression, created with Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor, represents Taiwan’s sorghum distilling tradition.
Aged for nine years in Kinmen’s historic underground pit cellars, the spirit reflects the island’s natural terroir and craftsmanship, said Ever Rich.
Its sleek black and gold feather design is inspired by migratory journeys, “symbolising the spirit of departure, reunion and the enduring warmth of Taiwan—an embodiment of cultural memory rather than a festive gift”, according to the retailer. It is priced at NTD2,800 (US$91).
Ever Rich has also strengthened its collaboration with Taiwan Tobacco & Liquor Corporation’s Nantou Distillery, debuting three limited-edition OMAR whiskies exclusively in the airport channel (pictured below).
The collection includes Taiwan’s first Peated Malt Bourbon Cask, a Sherry Cask edition and an innovative Orange Brandy Barrel-finished edition.
The travel-themed packaging, drawing from passports, maps and postcards, “speaks to the global mobility of today’s travellers while anchoring each bottle in Taiwan’s unique landscapes”, said Ever Rich.
The Peated Malt Bourbon Cask edition is priced at NTD3,850 (US$126), the Sherry Cask at the same price and the Orange Brandy Barrel finish at NTD4950 (US$162).

Citing a recent trends report from The Spirits Business title, the travel retailer said consumers are increasingly drawn to authenticity and emotional resonance, favouring brands that highlight heritage, craftsmanship and responsibility through storytelling.
“Ever Rich is more than a retailer—we are an ambassador of Taiwan’s culture and creativity at the nation’s gateways,” said a statement from the travel retailer. “By curating exclusive spirits with strong cultural narratives, we connect Taiwan’s heritage with global travellers and align with the industry’s trend toward storytelling, authenticity and locally-rooted innovation.” ✈
