Singapore Changi Airport extends retail and F&B offer and announces latest big shopping campaign

‘Be a Changi Millionaire’ returns: One of the grand prize winners will drive away with a luxury Porsche Macan

SINGAPORE. Changi Airport Group has opened 20 food & beverage and retail venues across the terminals and leisure to entertainment complex Jewel Changi Airport. These include 16 brands new to the airport precinct. The airport company has also announced the latest edition of its popular ‘Be a Changi Millionaire’ shopping promotion, with S$1 million and a Porsche Macan as the top prizes (see below).

Among the new dining concepts is contemporary Chinese restaurant Crown Prince Kitchenette, located in Changi’s public area. It serves popular Singaporean fare Teochew pork rib soup (Bak Kut Teh), and other signature dishes including braised duck and braised pork trotters.

Located at Terminal 2, XW Western Grill features an all-you-can-eat salad bar and an extensive array of hot and cold sides. The salad bar is complimentary with any main course order, and it is also offered à la carte. The restaurant is in the process of getting its halal certification.

The openings also include big-name international brands including McDonald’s with a revamped store at T2. It features a Digital Play Wall for an immersive and interactive dining experience.

Chocolatier Godiva is also set to open this month at T3, featuring a selection of premium chocolates, as well as a range of beverages, fresh strawberries and berries with chocolate dip.

Jamba Juice has made its debut in Singapore with an outlet in T1. It is popular for its fruit juices, smoothies and energy bowls.

Other globally renowned brands to join the airport’s F&B lineup next month are Starbucks and Burger King.

Five new outlets have also recently opened in the Transit area including three new-to-Changi brands.

Scarves & Glitter at T1 offers a selection of clothing, accessories and handcrafted souvenirs.

A popular local brand, Beyond the Vines is now open in T3, showcasing its funky collection of bags and accessories

Popular homegrown brand Beyond the Vines’ pop-up store at T3 offers bags and wallets, including its signature dumpling bag.

Gourmet Sarawak in T3 serves traditional Sarawakian dishes, including the famous Kolo Mee, while Archipelago Bar in T2 offers quick bites as well as craft beer. Bacha Coffee has added a duplex outlet in T4, after opening in T3 last year.

Other stores set to open include luxury Italian menswear Stefano Ricci in T1 and Ella Robotic Barista in T2 and T3, each making their debut at Changi Airport.

Jewel Changi Airport this month adds seven new brands to its list of 250 retail and F&B outlets. This includes a mix of categories across electronics, watches, health and beauty services and cafés from both local and international brands.

Featuring a one-stop health and wellness concept, Minmed Wellness Collective now offers comprehensive health screening services in its first-to-market health screening suites and fitness classes. These include rhythm cycling, yoga, barre and pilates classes held at the verdant Shiseido Forest Valley and Canopy Park.

For more beauty and spa options, Natureland has also opened at Jewel – its second premium outlet in Singapore, while SkinGO! offers express facials.

Soon to open its second Singapore store is Hong Kong bakery Kee Wah, which is popular for its premium snacks.

Also launching its Jewel outlet is local patisserie Nesuto, featuring its signature cakes, entremets, cherir sablé cookies and gifting options plus wine/tea dessert pairings.

Drone manufacturer DJI is opening its first Singapore store showcasing its wide range of drones, cameras and accessories. G-Shock Casio is introducing Jewel exclusive products from its range of watches.

A chance to win S$1 million and a Porsche Macan  

Changi Airport Group has also launched the 11th edition of its signature year-long shopping promotion, ‘Be a Changi Millionaire.’

The airport company has again partnered with Porsche for a campaign themed “All the luck in the world, now in Changi.”

Grand prizes include S$1 million (US$744,700) and a Porsche Macan, which retails at about S$270,000 (US$210,000) (excluding the Certificate of Entitlement).

Whether it’s a million-dollar windfall or a dream vacation, we want to inspire and reward our shoppers with life-changing experiences.”

To qualify for this grand draw, shoppers are required to spend S$50 (US$37) in a single receipt at Changi, Jewel, or online at Changi ecommerce portal iShopChangi.

To boost the odds of winning, customers are encouraged to shop more at iShopChangi and check out using Changi’s e-wallet Changi Pay. This will earn them four additional chances to win the grand prizes.

Shoppers and diners are offered the chance to win more prizes including S$1,000 (US$745) cash daily, S$3,000 (US$2,230) worth of Jewel vouchers and a pair of air tickets every month. Destinations include Bhutan, Egypt, Turkey, Ethiopia, Fiji, New Caledonia, Australia and South Korea.

Shoppers who pay with Mastercard also get the chance to win staycations and tickets to local attractions.
