Skyport Hospitality and chef Frank Bonanno unveil Italian restaurant Osteria Marco at Denver Airport

USA. Skyport Hospitality has teamed up with 16-time James Beard-nominated Chef Frank Bonanno to open high-class Italian restaurant Osteria Marco in Denver International Airport Concourse B, mezzanine Level 3.

Combining “fine dining quality with casual charm”, Osteria Marco’s menu highlights include burrata and salumi, hand-rolled pastas and wood-fired pizzas.

Osteria Marco’s restaurant design has a striking visual appeal, bringing another high-quality Italian dining option to Denver Airport

The dynamic Osteria Marco wine list showcases diverse Italian terroirs, while an extensive craft cocktails menu is also available.

Frank Bonanno is CEO of Bonanno Concepts, a Denver-based restaurant group behind some of Colorado’s best-known dining destinations.

In addition to Osteria Marco, which opened in downtown Denver’s Larimer Square in 2007, Bonanno is behind restaurants including Mizuna, Luca d’Italia, Salita, Vesper Lounge and Dumplin’, Denver’s first Italian Asian concept.

Bonanno commented: “Bringing Osteria Marco to Denver Airport feels like the perfect evolution for us. We’ve created something special on Larimer Square, and now we get to share that same authentic Italian experience with travellers from around the world.

“There’s something magical about offering our hand-tossed pizzas to people beginning or ending their journey, it’s what real hospitality looks like.”

Denver International Airport CEO Phil Washington said: “We are delighted to welcome Osteria Marco by Chef Frank Bonanno to DEN. We continue to elevate the offerings for our customers with popular local favorites to enhance their experience at DEN.”

Skyport Hospitality CEO David Mosteller commented: “Skyport Hospitality, Osteria Marco’s operations partner at DEN, has hired more than 50 new team members for Chef Bonanno’s first airport location.

“We’re proud to partner with Frank and his team. Osteria Marco brings a celebrated taste of downtown Denver to DEN travellers and an elevated dining destination to the Concourse B mezzanine.” ‍
