Smashbox’s latest Primer addition |
Smashbox Cosmetics has made several key additions to its make-up portfolio. The brand has extended its primer repertoire with the new Photo Finish Foundation Primer SPF20 Dermaxyl Complex. It is being launched into travel retail doors in Europe, the Middle East and Africa this month.
Described as a two-in-one primer that preps skin for foundation while helping to visibly correct dark spots, it features a blend of antioxidants, extracts and vitamins, which help to improve smoothness, brightness, radiance and evenness, according to the brand.
New shades of Smashbox’s Halo Long Wear Blush are also being launched into travel retail this month. Infused with goji berry, the blusher is an all-natural mineral formula that infuses cheeks with a dewy glow, to deliver a lit-from-within flush of colour. It incorporates a built-in grinder, to deliver the perfect amount of colour every time. The new shades are Passion (bright pink) and sun-kissed Bronze.
Smashbox has also created three new shades for its Be Legendary Lipstick collection. Its creamy, cushiony texture delivers both instant and long-term hydration, the brand maintains, keeping lips soft, supple and sultry. The formula is enriched with vitamins A and E, shea butter and a moisture complex.
The new shades are Pretty Social (a soft pink), Sunset Junction (a warm terracotta) and Plum Scene (a deep wine hue).
Lastly, for eyes, Smashbox has introduced Waterproof Shadow Liner, a multi-tasking new product that can be used as an eye liner and eye shadow. The crease-resistant formulation is said to offer soft, all-over definition in a single, easy step. It has been developed with flexwear polymers to deposit comfortable, long-wearing colour, with light-reflecting pearls for a shot of shimmer.
The product can be applied on the upper lid for definition, or all over the eyelid as a richly-pigmented shadow, blended with the smudger end of the pencil. Waterproof Shadow Liner is available in six shades: Charcoal, Luminous Fig, Metallic Marble, Chrome, Lapis and Shimmering Ivy.
