US. Brown-Forman has announced two new appointments for its wine and spirit brands.
Mark McCullum has been appointed to the position of chief marketing officer for the company’s spirit brands. Prior to this position he was executive vice-president of marketing for Red Lobster at Darden Restaurants. He will oversee the marketing and advertising activities for all Brown-Forman’s spirit brands, including Jack Daniel’s and Southern Comfort.
“Mark has more than 20 years of business experience in general management, marketing, advertising and brand building in both domestic and international markets. He will be a great asset to our team as we continue to develop a strong brand-building culture,” commented Brown-Forum Beverages chief executive officer Paul Varga.
Meanwhile, Brown-Forum Wines president David Dearie announced the appointment of Paul Dolan to lead new product development for Brown-Forman wines. Prior to this Dolan was the president for Fetzer Vineyards.
“Paul is a true visionary in the wine industry and his innovative work with Fetzer in developing Sundial Chardonnay, Eagle Peak Merlot, Bonterra and Five Rivers Ranch wines has been instrumental in Fetzer Vineyard’s success over the last 25 years,” said Dearie. “Paul will now use his talents and creativity to help us develop new wines and labels across Brown-Forman’s entire wine portfolio.”
