SSP to make Bulgaria debut after securing Sofia Airport food & beverage contract

BULGARIA. Global travel restaurateur SSP has been awarded a contract by Sofia International Airport operator SOF Connect to operate 12 F&B outlets at the capital city gateway.

The contract, SSP’s first in Bulgaria, is set to transform the airport’s dining landscape, offering passengers a mix of international, proprietory and local culinary brands.

Global concepts including Starbucks, Burger King and TGI Fridays and popular SSP brands such as Levito Pizza Pasta, Negroni, Camden Food, Ta.Sh.Ba, Upper Crust, Soul & Grain and Dao Dao Asian Cuisine will be among the dining options available.

SSP will also intoduce bespoke concepts such as Meshana Taste of Bulgaria and Bar 09-27.

SSP’s plans involve developing a modern food court in line with top international industry standards. It will feature a central common seating area and an outdoor terrace.

The project will be implemented in several phases, starting with the opening of Starbucks and Camden Food – expected to operate at the beginning of 2025. 🧑‍🍳
