USA. International Association of Airport and Duty Free Stores (IAADFS) has added Lisa Bauer to its Board of Directors.
Bauer is President & CEO of Starboard Cruise Services, a leading retailer at sea catering to 13 global cruise line partners, along with its sister company Onboard Media, which offers media solutions in the travel and hospitality sector.
Throughout her career, she has served in various leadership positions including Vice President of Onboard Experience at Delta Air Lines; Executive Vice President of Global Operations and Chief Operating Officer for International Cruise & Excursions; and Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing at Royal Caribbean International, overseeing worldwide marketing and revenue management.
Bauer has an impressive track record in the airline, hotel, cruise and leisure travel sectors. She was selected as one of the ‘Most Powerful Women in Travel’ by Travel Agent magazine; awarded ‘Top 100 Women-Led Businesses in Florida’ by The Commonwealth Institute; and she was named among the ‘Top Women in Travel & Hospitality’ by Women Leading Travel & Hospitality.
She said: “It is an honour to join the IAADFS Board of Directors and continue to give back to the retail industry, as well as lend my expertise to advance the incredible opportunities available in the cruise sector.”
