USA. Leading airport retailer Stellar Partners has opened the first permanent airport store for technology media brand Wired at Newark Liberty International Terminal B.
The Wired store is a technology and tech accessories outlet designed and built in partnership with publisher Condé Nast and Wired to “push the boundaries of the airport retail experience” according to the partners.

“We are pleased to work in such close partnership with the Condé Nast and Wired teams to bring the innovative Wired retail store to life,” said Stellar Vice President of Business Development & Strategic Alliances, Yasmin Sheriff. “This partnership means an exciting new retail experience for travellers.”
Wired has already opened a series of pop-up shops from New York to Los Angeles, which inspired the design of this new store.
“For more than a decade now, Wired’s annual pop-up shops have been hugely successful and popular with our audience,” said Wired Editor-in-Chief Nick Thompson. “We’re proud of the reputation that our temporary stores have built, and this permanent location will build on that by providing a place where consumers can touch and see the products they read about every day.”

The product range is recommended by Wired editors. It includes headphones and earbuds from Beats, Sony, and Master & Dynamic, backpacks from Peak Design and smart speakers from JBL. As well as tech gear, consumers can find copies of Wired magazine and have the opportunity to receive discounts on future subscriptions.
The store is located near Gate B19. Stellar also operates The New Stand in Terminal B.
