SWEDEN. Stockholm Arlanda Airport transformed Terminal 5 into a fashion runway on Friday (24 October) as part of a one-day showcase highlighting the locally inspired retail offer in the Marketplace retail zone.
The event featured autumn collections from several Swedish and international brands now trading in the expanded commercial area.

The Marketplace, the largest commercial investment in Arlanda’s history, opened earlier this year. It features an extended mix of fashion, accessories and lifestyle names with a strong Scandinavian design influence.

Participating brands in the fashion show included Newhouse, & Other Stories, Gant, J.Lindeberg, Aera Fashion, Today, Fredmans, Chimi and Syster P, alongside Danish homeware retailer Illums Bolighus.

Swedavia Chief Commercial Officer Charlotte Ljunggren said: “What an incredible day we’ve had here at Arlanda together with our retail partners.
“There were plenty of laughs and appreciative comments from travellers passing by and browsing the wide range of fashion options now available here in Terminal 5. Our vision for the new Marketplace has been to provide a shopping experience with an element of the unexpected.
“This means a wide range of shops with a broad price range that meets many different needs and I think we have managed to show that we live up to that based on what we have seen here on the catwalk today.” ✈
