Sunglass Hut and Lacoste among five outlets to open at Hyderabad airport

Visionary offering: Most of the new outlets will be located in the domestic security hold area, including Sunglass Hut

INDIA. A number of new retail outlets have opened at Hyderabad Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.

Multi-brand writing instruments retailer William Penn, Luxottica Group-owned Sunglass Hut and French clothing company Lacoste now have units in the domestic security hold area.

Among the available brands at William Penn are Lapisbard, Sheaffer, Cross, Pierre Cardin and Penn Line.

Sunglass Hut offers high-end brands from Luxottica said to cater to the “niche business and leisure passengers” travelling through the airport.

Lacoste will target the “upwardly mobile, next generation” passengers travelling out of the airport from across the country.

Two locations of sweet and savouries brand The Almond House have also opened, in an airport first. The units will be located in the security hold areas of both the domestic and international terminals. The Almond House is known for its ‘Almond sticks’ – which it says is a signature confectionery product.
