Sunshine Coast Airport names Scott Norris as General Manager Aviation and Commercial

AUSTRALIA. Sunshine Coast Airport has appointed the highly regarded Scott Norris as its new General Manager Aviation and Commercial. He will take up his position on 24 October.

Scott Norris has years of senior commercial experience with Vancouver, Perth and Auckland airports

The aviation executive brings wide experience of leading aeronautical and non-aeronautical commercial functions in major airports, most recently at Vancouver Airport. There, he performed the roles of Vice President Commercial Development and Vice President Strategic Customer Relationships.

Earlier in his career, Norris held senior commercial positions with Perth and Auckland airports.

Sunshine Coast Airport CEO Andrew Brodie said: “Scott joins us at the right time as he is a holistic business leader, who has delivered positive change, improved passenger and airline experiences and commercial outcomes.

“Our terminal and broader expansion plans, new international runway, record-breaking numbers in passengers and the opportunity to increase connectivity both domestically and internationally, was certainly an attractor for candidates.”
