Swarovski is hoping its sea-shaped cut-crystal Shell vase, created by Darko Mladenovic, becomes a design classic |
AUSTRIA. Crystal company Swarovski has launched its Spring/Summer 2005 home accessories collection featuring a range of ornaments in shades of blue.
Highlights of the new Tropical collection are a tealight combining matt aquamarine glass with blue crystal drops in rhodium settings, a filigree window ornament and a rectangular picture frame edged with sea-blue crystals.
The firm is hoping its sea-shaped cut-crystal Shell vase, created by Darko Mladenovic, becomes a design classic.
Cut-crystal designs such as dolphins, fish and seahorses appear in turquoise, blue, coral red and sand. The small-scale motifs are available individually or in a set in the form of exclusive magnetic clips, as stick-on objects or as free-standing ornaments.
Larger decorative cut-crystal objects include two colourful, glittering fish, a moss-green starfish and a seahorse in aquamarine.
Crystal collectibles include two fish, a hermit crab, a seahorse, a shoal of fish and a shell with pearl.
