US. Tastes on the Fly has opened a second Berkshire Farms Market in Boston Logan International Airport Terminal A.
The extended Berkshire Farms Market includes a bar offering local craft beers and wines, as well as an expanded selection of healthy food.
“Since it opened in Terminal B, Bostonians have shown how much they value the variety and quality of fresh local food offered at Berkshire Farms Market,” said Tastes on the Fly CEO Michael Levine.
“We are delighted to have expanded the offering, along with beer and wine, to Delta, Southwest and WestJet Customers.”
Tastes on the Fly is working with Berkshire Farm & Table – an agricultural organisation that promotes regional food culture – to curate and source local artisan producers. This supports small producers by showcasing their produce to a wider audience.
“We are delighted to bring the best of New England to Terminal A,” added Levine.
Tastes on the Fly operates 25 restaurants in four US airports, with an emphasis on bringing Sense of Place to terminals.
That commitment was rewarded when Tastes on the Fly’s SF Giants Clubhouse at San Francisco International Airport’s (SFO) was Regional Winner (Americas) in this year’s FAB Award for Airport Food & Beverage Offer Best Reflecting Sense of Place.
The company also collected an overall FAB Award for F&B Team Member of the Year, with Antonio Alicea from Stephanie’s in BOS proving a popular winner in this category.
NOTE: The Moodie Davitt Report also publishes FAB, the world’s only media focused on airport (and other travel-related) food & beverage. The FAB Newsletter is published every two weeks and The FAB eZine every month.
