Tastes on the Fly reveals three-venue food hall at Denver International Airport

USA. A food hall from Tastes on the Fly featuring the brands Aviano Coffee, El Chingon Bistro and Mizu Sushi-Izakaya has opened in Denver International Airport Concourse B. The space features a 1,150sq m shared seating area.

Tastes on the Fly is operating the concessions with International Retail Group and SJAC ATL Airport, both ACDBE (Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) companies.

International Retail Group was founded by Denver native Huy Pham and SJAC ATL Airport is led by Sterling Coleman, an experienced restaurateur with food & beverage interests at Raleigh-Durham International Airport and a franchisee of 18 Zaxby’s chicken restaurants. In November 2023, Tastes On The Fly was acquired by Paradies Lagardère and its parent company, Lagardère Travel Retail.

Aviano Coffee, which operates two locations in downtown Denver, offers a selection of frothy cappuccinos, rich lattes and other speciality beverages including nitro cold brew, tea mocktails and signature matcha infusions. It also offers recipes featuring Askinosie Chocolate, ethically sourced, small batch craft chocolate made by hand in the USA.

Denver International Airport Senior Vice President, Concessions Pamela Dechant told The Moodie Davitt Report: “By introducing local brands into our airport, we’re not just adding dining options, we’re showcasing the vibrant flavours and culinary creativity that make Denver’s food scene unique.

“We’re proud our guests can experience our city’s culture, flavours and hospitality during their airport journey.”

Dechant told us that Denver Airport is currently undergoing an F&B transformation, with more than 20 café and dining venues scheduled to open before the end of 2025.

“We believe the addition of these popular street concepts will change the foodie landscape at Denver,” she added. ‍
