FRANCE. Tax Free World Association (TFWA) has named Michele Miranda as Conference Director, following her tenure as Conference Manager since 2015.
Miranda took over the new role from 1 February and is now responsible for overseeing all TFWA conferences and workshops.
TFWA President Erik Juul-Mortensen said: “I offer my heartfelt congratulations to Michele on her well-deserved promotion.
“Michele has proven to be an outstanding member of the TFWA team over the past nine years. She has done much to enhance the quality of our conferences, ensuring the participation of some of duty free and travel retail’s most compelling, engaging and knowledgeable speakers.
“I have no doubt that her enthusiasm, energy and professionalism will stand her in good stead in her new role as Conference Director.” ✈
