HONG KONG. Nuance-Watson (HK) has unveiled the ground-breaking cosmetics brand Prevage at its beauty megastore Temptation Duty Free at Hong Kong International Airport – the first store in Hong Kong to offer the powerful antioxidant jointly developed by Elizabeth Arden and Allergan.
Temptation Duty Free said it was chosen by Elizabeth Arden to pre-launch its star product in Hong Kong as the company had validated many successful launches of new brands and products to global customers.
To support the exclusive launch, a strong promotion plan is in place, including shop front lightboxes, prominent in-store display and a full-scale publicity campaign with Hong Kong consumer publications. Temptation customers can enjoy a saving of up to 40% against other Asian markets.
Prevage contains an exclusive ingredient, Idebenone, which allows the skin to repair itself and reverse damage. It was previously only available from dermatologists as a prescription anti-ageing cure. Within months, it was flying off pharmacy shelves and generated dermatological interest. Elizabeth Arden partnered with Allergan (the maker of Botox) on a reformulation and developed the first cosmetic version of a pharmaceutical product. Prevage is opening up an entirely new category of skincare product. It is said to be recommended for both men and women.
“It’s being used as a topical anti-ageing treatment much to the benefit of frequent travellers, ” said Nuance-Watson (HK).
