Tom Ford Violet Blonde will be available at London Heathrow Terminal 5 from 21 September

Violet Blonde is described as an opulent, “dressed-up” fragrance that revives the glamorous past of perfumery. Ford himself explained: “Violet Blonde has the spirit of a classical, European fragrance. It is formal, polished, and yet draws you in closer and closer, like a beautifully dressed woman whose refined presence charms, then fascinates, and ultimately seduces you.”

The juice is said to offer a new twist on classic violet, by enveloping violet leaf absolute with orris (the root of the iris flower), and infusing the duo with jasmine sambac. Other key ingredients include mandarin, baie rose, benzoin, cedar wood, Haitian vetiver absolute and musk.

The fragrance boasts a warm Cognac hue and is packaged in a transparent version of the signature fire-polished and ribbed glass Tom Ford bottle. A gold plaque, debossed with the brand logo and Violet Blonde name, is riveted to the bottle. The glossy, violet outer carton is ribbed to match the bottle texture, and stamped with a contrasting gold-coloured plaque and logo.
