The L’Oréal group Remixes Emporio Armani – 10/08/06

FRANCE. L’Oréal Produits de Luxe International has unveiled a new fragrance duo from Emporio Armani, called Remix. It will be launched into European travel retail from September, and subsequently rolled out to the Americas and Asia from February 2007.

Remix will be the fifth such masterbrand offering from Emporio Armani, following in the footsteps of Emporio He and She; White for Him and Her; Night Him and Her; and City Glam.

This latest concept pays homage to the legendary days of disco, resurrecting and reinventing the codes of the past, according to the company.

Emporio Armani Remix for women is a floral juice blended with fruity elements. It opens with pear sorbet, cranberries and star anise, which lead to a heart of freesia, peony, magnolia and clover. The dry-down features musks and woods.

Its masculine counterpart is described as an aromatic fougère. It includes top notes of bergamot, basil grand vert and aniseed, with a heart of cardamom, mace and lily-of-the-valley, on a base of liquorice wood, vetiver and musks.

The fragrance flacons are the signature Emporio Armani shape, with the colour-scheme and materials reportedly inspired by the Emporio Armani 2006-2007 Fall-Winter Collection.

The men’s version is coloured a midnight blue; the women’s mauve. Both feature the fragrance name displayed in broad neon type, engraved with chrome.

The familiar “flowpack” outer cartons are also stamped with the Remix chrome logo in a complementary reflected pattern.

Both versions are available as 50ml and 100ml sprays. The recommended domestic price points are €51.50 and €70 for the female fragrances, and €47 and €63.50 for the men’s.
