The Moodie Davitt Report is seeking a top-quality Asia Pacific-based journalist to join the travel retail publishing market leader and one of the world’s most-respected and innovative B2B titles.
The successful candidate will join an acclaimed editorial team led by business owners Martin Moodie (Hong Kong-based) and Dermot Davitt (Ireland-based). The role will be home-based initially.
He or she will work closely with Martin Moodie across Asia Pacific markets and time zones on news, features, interviews and social media. The Moodie Davitt Asia office in Hong Kong also employs WeChat Editor Penelope Zhou and two freelance staff in Shenzhen.
The successful candidate will be digitally savvy; have high standards of accuracy and all-round professionalism; and possess qualities of relationship-building, integrity and discretion.
Knowledge of Asia Pacific travel, retail and luxury markets and social/digital media skills will be an advantage.
