HONG KONG, CHINA. South Korean travel retailer The Shilla Duty Free has agreed a three-year extension with Airport Authority Hong Kong for the Beauty&You cosmetics, fragrance, fashion and accessories concession at Hong Kong International Airport.
The multi-store operation will run until 30 September 2027, Airport Authority Hong Kong confirmed with The Moodie Davitt Report.
The extension bolsters the company’s strong and diverse offshore presence outside its Korean business.
That international portfolio includes Singapore Changi Airport, where last October Changi Airport Group extended Shilla’s perfumes & cosmetics contract by four years from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2028. The extension covers 22 outlets and spans over 7,700sq m of retail space across Changi Airport’s four terminals. The Shilla Duty Free also operates at Macau International Airport.

At home, the travel retailer won the contract to operate concession packages for cosmetics & perfumes (DF1) and liquor & tobacco (DF3) categories at Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 in April last year.
As reported, The Shilla Duty Free unveiled its T1 cosmetics and perfume operation on 13 March. ✈
