The Shilla Duty Free opens powerhouse beauty brand flagship boutique zone at Incheon International Airport

SOUTH KOREA. The Shilla Duty Free today opened a flagship store zone for six leading beauty brands at Incheon International Airport Terminal 2.

The sextet of adjacent standalone boutiques features Chanel, Dior, Estée Lauder, Lancôme, SK-II and Korean brand Sulwhasoo.

The Hotel Shilla subsidiary said the launch was a response to the growing popularity of flagship stores which offer an immersive experience of each brand’s essence and philosophy.

The Shilla Duty Free described the 316sq m shopping space in T2’s central area as the airport’s only cosmetics brand flagship store zone.

Quality neighbourhood: The individual boutiques offer an array of signature and specialised customer services unique to each brand

The Estée Lauder store provides the Re-Nutriv High-Touch Massage and Consultation Service, where customers can experience the super-premium Re-Nutriv skincare line.

To commemorate the opening, customers who spend above a certain amount receive a deluxe gift set of seven items, traditional Norigae charms, and a face massage tool.

The Sulwhasoo boutique, touted as the first of its kind at an airport, features a space designed to express Sulwhasoo’s heritage and the beauty of Korean aesthetics. It introduces the Jihambo Wrapping Service, the brand’s exclusive gift-wrapping offer.

In September, the boutique will launch a range of products exclusive to the location.

Customers can experience Les Exclusifs de Chanel collection at the Chanel store. According to The Shilla Duty Free, this collection gained immense popularity through the recent Chanel Fragrance Masterclass held in Seoul’s downtown Bukchon and Seongsu-dong neighbourhoods.

The store also features the exclusive airport release of heritage-inspired lipstick 31 Le Rouge.

The SK-II boutique offers a range of skin consultation services featuring personalised assessments. To celebrate the Incheon opening, coffee coupons are being offered to customers during a month-long promotion.

The Shilla Duty Free recently celebrated its one-year anniversary of having assumed the Incheon International Airport duty-free concession. During the interim period the company has sequentially opened stores across multiple categories, including cosmetics and perfumes, liquor and tobacco, fashion and accessories. ✈
