Cadbury’s large-scale new exhibition stand will be debuting at this year’s TFWA Asia Pacific exhibition |
UK. Cadbury will be unveiling new products on a bigger, freshly designed stand at the TFWA Asia Pacific exhibition in May (Stand number: N22).
The premium exhibition stand, decked out in Cadbury branded colours and some 4m high, marks the first time that the company has exhibited on such a scale at the Singapore show in over five years – and is a sign of Cadbury’s dedication to the region and the travel retail channel, the firm said.
Cadbury General Manager ITR Steve Brock commented: “We are very happy to exhibit on this scale in the region despite the economic difficulties in the channel and domestically at the moment. The show must go on – and so must the development of the channel and, in particular, confectionery.”

British heritage: Cadbury Collection Biscuit Tin |
In addition to its new Cadbury Collection Biscuit Tin, new products on display will include additions to the 500g pouch range and innovative extensions to Cadbury’s gifting and snacking ranges.
Cadbury Heritage Biscuits
The Cadbury Collection Biscuit Tin (400g) is designed to meet the needs of shoppers seeking either a premium gift or a snack for sharing, according to Cadbury. The launch, set to take place in May 2009 – coinciding with the TFWA Asia Pacific show – provides the ideal opportunity to increase sales and target a wider travelling public throughout the coming summer months, it said.
A recent syndicated global study called “˜Listening to the global consumer’ showed that 83% of confectionery purchases in the global ITR channel were for gifting (52%) and sharing (31%).
The Cadbury brand name is said to be clearly displayed on the new tin, giving shoppers the quality assurance they need. In addition, the packaging offers an additional added-value reason to buy – the opportunity to take home a piece of British heritage to share with friends and family. The 400g Cadbury Collection Tin comprises six units per case of biscuit assortments coated with Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate.
“This is an exciting new addition to the current Cadbury travel retail range,” enthused Brock. “The results of our shopper insight programme indicate that more and more shoppers are looking for the ideal product for gifting or sharing on the go with friends and family.”
