The Trinity Conversations: Salvatore Ferragamo CEO Michele Norsa

In the latest instalment of The Trinity Conversations, Salvatore Ferragamo CEO Michele Norsa speaks with The Moodie Report Traveller Engagement Consultant Andrew Carter about the fashion house’s travel retail strategy and his views on the local market.

Norsa reveals that the brand’s priorities over the next 12 months are to expand its reach through new locations, including Helsinki, and extend through Asia.

“We keep expanding and working on the profile of the travellers and customers, looking for international airports, also going out of the normal”¦ taking some risks,” he remarks.

While educating staff to keep up with the ever-changing traveller is key, Norsa adds that more needs to be done to direct passengers around the airport space to allow them more time in retail areas.

This interview is the latest instalment in The Trinity Conversations, a new series from The Moodie Report in which leading industry figures discuss company strategies, category performance and issues facing the channel.

Previous participants include Lacoste CEO Asia Pacific and Global Travel Retail Jean-Louis Delamarre and Dubai Duty Free President George Horan whose interviews can be viewed below:
