Thélios, LVMH Eyewear Excellence, will spotlight key eyewear styles from its luxury maisons at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes (29 September-3 October).
Founded in 2017, LVMH’s luxury eyewear brand Thélios has expanded its global travel retail activations this year.
In Cannes, the company will showcase eyewear collections from its stellar portfolio of brands, including Dior, Fendi, Bulgari, Givenchy, Loewe, Kenzo, Fred and TAG Heuer.
Thélios will also present the latest offerings from its proprietary brands, Vuarnet and Barton Perreira, at its booth (Riviera Village, RH5).
Thélios Head of Travel Retail Alessandro Eucaliptus said: “Thélios is committed to elevating the luxury eyewear category every step of the way. Travel retail is a key channel for us and the perfect environment to showcase our products and innovative visual merchandising concepts.
“We are delighted to be back in Cannes to reveal our latest luxury maisons’ eyewear collections for travel retail partners. We look forward to meeting our valued partners and making new connections in this very special 40th anniversary for the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes.”
Thélios will present key styles for travel retail including:
Dior
Very Dior, designed by Artistic Director Maria Grazia Chiuri, not only serves as eyewear but also as a chic headband. This style was first presented during the Dior Autumn-Winter 2024-2025 show in Paris.
The sculptural all-around mask-shaped sunglasses feature the Cannage motif on the temples and a magnified CD gold metal signature on the sides.
Another eyewear product from Dior is CD Diamond – a classic square style in semi-transparent grey acetate showcasing CD Diamond pins in the shape of diamonds on the front.
This design features a metal wire core on the temples, also engraved with the emblematic CD Diamond pattern.
Fendi
The lightweight Fendi First Crystal line now includes a rimless cat-eye shape. It includes two F crystals on the lenses while the Fendi signature script is lasered on the metal temples.
The second style, Fendi Diagonal, is recognisable by the distinctive diagonal detail on the temples. The design is completed with a tone-on-tone metal insert and an FF pattern lasered on the end tips.
This squared acetate style embodies the vision of Silvia Venturini Fendi for Fendi Men.
Celine
Celine has added a squared, oversized acetate frame to its Triomphe collection. The eyewear style features a metal Triomphe logo on the temples, adapted from Celine archives by Hedi Slimane, inspired by the chain encircling Place de l’Étoile in Paris.
Givenchy
A design from the Fall-Winter 2023 Collection, the new Giv Cut Metal model has a metal frame and a delicate Givenchy logo on the lenses. Its angular front and temples reprise the brand’s signature initial.
Loewe
The Loewe Anagram rectangular mask-style frame includes the Anagram logo on the temples with two metal pins on the front. The curved design is accented with crystal strass on the front and temples.
Stella McCartney
Stella 2001 is an oversized cat-eye frame in acetate. The model features a metal insert on the temples engraved with the Stella McCartney name.
Kenzo
The pantos-style Wave frame comes in transparent acetate with smoke lenses and a tone-on-tone Kenzo logo on the temples. The new eyewear range draws inspiration from Japan, reflecting the brand’s vision of creating a bridge between Eastern and Western styles.
Bulgari
Extanding the Serpenti collection, the Forever design features a snake-head detail on the hinge with hand-applied enamel, alongside a Bulgari logo on the temples and gemstone-like tips.
Tag Heuer
The Shield is a mask-style frame inspired by the world of biking. Made from eco-friendly materials such as bio-nylon and recycled graphite, it has a flexible elastic rubber frame for comfort and durability.
Fred
The Manille & Cable sunglass style is inspired by vintage Fred designs. This rimless pilot frame features a double metal bridge made with Force 10 cables, as well as acetate tips and the Fred logo. The blue lenses are reminiscent of the sea, which serves as a key inspiration for the brand.
Vuarnet
Legend 02 is the brand’s most popular frame. It is crafted from bio-nylon and known for its mineral glass lenses that provide strong protection against bright light. This style was first sported by French skier Jean Vuarnet during his 1960 Olympic win.
Barton Perreira
Handcrafted in Japan, the Norton style features round lenses for a minimalist look. The attention to detail in each pair reflects the brand’s commitment to quality craftsmanship. ✈
