GERMANY. Two retailers are enhancing the shopping offer at Hamburg Airport with new ventures as Marco O’Polo unveils a larger, relocated store and tech2go gets set to open a second shop. A trio of commercial openings is completed by Hamburg Transfers, which has opened a landside walk-in centre offering chauffeur-driven services to and from the airport.
Fashion house Marco O’Polo’s expanded, redesigned store has a new position adjacent to Gate A17. It now offers a wider range of clothing, bags and shoes in various price categories.

Meanwhile tech2go, which opened its first store at Hamuburg Airport in 2018, will shortly open store number two adjacent to gate C15. It will offer electronics products including headphones, powerbanks and charging cables.
Hamburg Transfers is bringing new services to the publicly accessible area on the arrivals level in Terminal 2. As well as a chauffeur service using its modern fleet into and out of the airport, the company offers additional services ranging from passenger bag carrying to a sightseeing or city tour.
The new shops and services add to more store openings at Hamburg Airport over the last 12 months. These include Olymp (offering men’s travel apparel, with fashionable shirts, knitwear, t-shirts and accessories); Lloyd (premium ladies’ and men’s shoes); and Hard Rock Café (Hamburg-labelled branded shirts and hoodies plus souvenirs from the famous global brand).

Hamburg Airport Head of Center Management Lutz Deubel said: “Browsing through various exclusive stores before departure is quite simply part of the experience of air travel, so we are absolutely delighted that the majority of our shops have reopened.
“Once again, a diverse range of souvenirs, fashion and electronics awaits our passengers. Our world of shopping has become even more varied. In recent months we have welcomed four new tenants, with the latest arrival being Hamburg Transfers in Terminal 2.
“The new Marco O’Polo and tech2go shops boast vivid new looks. Customers now have even more to discover here.”
