SWITZERLAND. Luxury watch supplier Raymond Weil has released into travel retail a new collection of women’s watches, together with several updated men’s models.
The new women’s collection, Shine, is positioned as “an expression of love from men to women”. The Tango Chrono, a flashier version of the earlier Tango models, takes a more masculine slant with its stainless steel look.
The updated collections comprise:
Shine: Shine consists of two rectangular models, 1500 ST2 24581 and 1500 ST2 70581. Each features:
– A stainless steel case set with 48 diamonds of 0.36ct
– Quartz movement
– Sapphire crystal
– Interchangeable strap or bracelet. Bracelet is stainless steel and the shantung satin strap comes in oyster, coffee or black
– Oyster or coffee dial set with one (44 diamonds, 0.14ct) or two (100 diamonds, 0.32ct) rivières
– Water resistance of up to 30 metres
Tradition Automatic Time Square: Raymond Weil gives the two updated models, 2836 P 00807 and 2836 ST 00307, a contemporary styling that looks undated and understated. The look reflects “a commitment to a tradition of high standards and watchmaking skills”, according to the firm. Attributes include:
– Square yellow gold-plated or stainless steel case
– Black leather strap with ardillon buckle
– Pink or white dial with three roman numerals and eight indices
– Second counter at 6 o’clock
– Calendar at 3 o’clock
– Sapphire crystal
– Mechanical movement with automatic winding
– Transparent case back with sapphire crystal
– Water resistance of up to 30 metres
Tango Chrono: The latest model from the prêt-à -porter collection, 4881 ST 00209, is targeted at the confident, assertive man who pushes himself to the limits. Its masculine look is made up of several components:
– Rectangular stainless steel case and bracelet
– Black dial with roman numerals
– Calendar large date at 12 o’clock
– Sapphire crystal
– Quartz movement
– Water resistance of up to 50 metres
– Seconds counter at 3 o’clock
– Minutes counter at 9 o’clock
– Hours counter at 6 o’clock
Don Giovanni Così Grande Two Time Zones Pink Gold: The model, characterised by a mechanical movement that controls two time zones, now comes with a pink gold case set with diamonds. LIke the older models, this model also features a transparent back which reveals the mechanical movement and rotors decorated with the Côtes de Genève pattern. Key features include:
– 18ct rectangular pink gold case with an option of 138 diamonds of 1.1ct
– Black leather strap with ardillon buckle
– Black dial with two time zones
– Raised arabic numerals and indices
– Calendar at 3 o’clock on the 12 hours zone
– Sapphire crystal with anti-glare treatment on both sides
– Mechanical movement with automatic winding
– Two time zone function
– 38-hour power reserve
– Water resistance of up to 30 metres
