DPT Antwerp debuts self-service demi-fine jewellery concept with Qatar Duty Free

DPT showcase includes the Ever Bangle, a piece beautifully hand-set with 62 natural diamonds

QATAR. DPT Antwerp – originally launched in travel retail by Newmark and formerly known as Diamanti Per Tutti – has debuted at Hamad International Airport with a self-service jewellery display in partnership with Qatar Duty Free.

The activation follows the brand’s soft launch in December 2024, when a semi-personalised counter was introduced within the airport’s Accessories Lab near The Orchard.

The new permanent counter marks a milestone for the Belgian demi-fine jewellery house as it extends its footprint in global travel retail.

DPT’s presence features a round display table and spinner tower, showcasing 36 designs of accessible, diamond jewellery. Key collections include the hero Ever Bangle, handset with 62 natural diamonds in sterling silver; and the travel retail-exclusive Wanderlust range.

According to DPT, the opening was been driven by close collaboration with the Qatar Duty Free Jewellery & Watches team. Early performance indicators are strong, with both parties now exploring further expansion opportunities across the airport, DPT said.

Positioned in the demi-fine segment, DPT Antwerp bridges the gap between fashion and fine jewellery. The brand works exclusively with sterling silver and ethically sourced natural diamonds and precious stones – a proposition that complements Hamad International’s curated portfolio of jewellery brands and enhances its diverse luxury offer, the brand said.

“We are extremely proud to be part of the award-winning jewellery curation at Hamad International Airport, in close partnership with Qatar Duty Free,” said DPT Co-Founder Edward Verté.

“This launch represents an important step in our global growth strategy and underscores our commitment to the dynamic and fast-growing travel retail market in the Middle East.”

The Moodie Davitt Report recently announced the results of the inaugural TREX Awards. “Differentiation is key to creating real value in and consumer curiosity about travel retail. True TREXs do that, offering products of real value that by definition cannot be procured elsewhere,” said The Moodie Davitt Report Founder & Chairman Martin Moodie. Nominations for the second TREX Awards will be called for later this year.
