Travel Blue is preparing to highlight its Gen Z-focused product line at the upcoming TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes (Yellow, F33).
This product portfolio allows operators the ability to connect with Gen Z shoppers and maximise the sales opportunity presented by this consumer group.
Travel Blue noted the increasing number of Gen Z travellers, set to become the largest airline passenger group by 2028. They comprise 1.2 billion of the 4.5 billion global travellers, with 70% planning to travel more within the next three years.
By then, Gen Zs are also expected to represent nearly two-thirds of duty-free shoppers, underlining the importance of engaging this demographic group.
Building on the successful launch of Travel Blue backpacks at the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition in Singapore, the company has rolled out new colourways including olive, khaki, blue and green as well as a range of personalised pins and badges.
The extended range is lightweight and affordable, priced from €59 to €99. The pins and badges are collectable, featuring national and cultural symbols such as monuments, food specialities and famous local tourist destinations.
Designed for diverse global markets, these solutions meet Gen Z’s demand for both personalisation and functionality.
Travel Blue’s Cannes showcase also includes its range of high-quality, reusable water bottles, made using stainless steel with double-walled vacuum technology to keep drinks hot for six hours or cold for 12.
Described as strong, sturdy and lightweight, the bottles come in four retro colourways, featuring a screw-top lid with a silicone seal and a special flow adjuster to control the delivery of hot or cold drinks.
The brand’s luggage collection, which made its debut at the Singapore show, offers five styles in various sixes and up to seven colour options.
The carry-on hardshell cases are made from polypropylene, a strong, lightweight material that “withstands the rigours of modern travel”.
Each piece is expandable and features embedded TSA locks, double 360° reinforced spinner wheels and an easy-to-grip handle integrated into the shell. The items are priced from €129 to €169 and includes a unique ten-year global warranty.
Travel Blue Managing Director Daniel Levin said: “Gen Z are more impulsive than previous generations but are highly selective, only choosing products that fulfil their needs and preferences.
“For these shoppers, the final decision to purchase happens in store so the range must quickly engage them and offer all the benefits they demand. All these qualities are found in the extensive Travel Blue portfolio. We have a great opportunity to work with our partners to provide a compelling offering to capitalise on the potential of Gen Z passengers.”
Travel Blue offers a diverse accessories portfolio that resonates with Gen Z trends, including neck pillows and essential electronics, such as cables, adaptors and chargers.
Levin added: “We really look forward to meeting existing and potential partners in Cannes, showcasing our extensive portfolio and discussing how together we engage with Gen Z now and in the future.”
