Travel retail industry descends on Bangkok for The Trinity Forum

THAILAND. Travel retail executives from all around the world are arriving in Bangkok today for what promises to be a blockbuster Trinity Forum.

Around 270 delegates are expected at the event, which runs from 9-11 February and is organised by The Moodie Report in partnership with Airports Council International. This year’s Forum is co-hosted by Airports of Thailand and King Power International Group.

Proceedings kick off tonight at an Opening Cocktail hosted by Airports of Thailand.

The Trinity Forum is being held at the Pullman Bangkok King Power

The Forum’s line-up of speakers features CEOs and senior representatives from some of travel retail’s biggest and most forward-thinking companies in the most powerful line-up in the event’s history.

Courtesy of hosts Airports of Thailand and King Power International, delegates to the Trinity Forum will enjoy a truly spectacular programme of social events.

Among the highlights will be the Opening Cocktail, hosted by Airports of Thailand and held in the Oriental Hotel’s Sala Rim Naam, a breathtaking riverside location featuring unique Thai architecture.

After the closure of the conference on Friday afternoon, delegates will have the extremely rare privilege of visiting one of Bangkok’s most stunning landmarks – the Vimanmek Palace, the world’s largest golden teakwood mansion. Normally closed to the public, this beautiful location will welcome Trinity Forum delegates for an exclusive tour and a private garden party featuring displays of Thai music, dance and culture.

Our hosts have also generously offered to host a golf tournament at the VR Sport Club on Saturday February 12. Non-golfing delegates will be offered a fantastic alternative – a tour of Bangkok’s Grand Palace and the fabled Jim Thompson House.
