Berlin-based travel retail and technology company Triple Nine is to showcase a new virtual souvenir magnet, Memodigi, at the upcoming TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes (Red Village, H3).
Described as the first of its kind in the world, it provides users with an easier means to store, archive and share images through their smartphone, without the need for any app installation or presetting.
It offers safe data storage for ten years or more, the company noted.
Memodigi uses NFC technology to create a seamless link between the user’s photos and videos and a digital album accessible with any smartphone.
It provides a more convenient way to organise and personalise their virtual albums, with tools that allow the creation of short-form video content and slideshows.
It is also integrated with social media platforms such as Instagram, making it easier for users to share content with friends and followers.
Triple Nine Head of Global Travel Retail Sofia Keles said: “We are thrilled to introduce Memodigi at the TFWA in Cannes, the world’s first interactive souvenir magnet, as a gamechanger in the travel memorabilia industry.
“Our goal is to empower travellers to capture their experiences in the most immersive and personal way possible, bridging the gap between physical souvenirs and digital storytelling and introducing a point of difference for travel retail. Memodigi allows people to relive their adventures with a single tap, sharing their most precious memories with friends, family and the world.” ✈
