GERMANY. German ferry operator TT-Line transported 950,000 passengers from Travemuende and Rostock, northern Germany, to Trelleborg, southern Sweden, in 2003, an increase of +15% from 2002.
The company attributed the increase in passenger traffic to the hot summer of 2003.
The passenger traffic on the route from Travemuende to Trelleborg went up by +5% compared to 2002. No comparative figures were available. The number of passengers, transported between Rostock and Trelleborg, rose by +20% to 277,083.
