Asbach Fire: “a spicy liqueur for younger people who are looking for new creations” |
Underberg has added a new flavour to its selection of Asbach liqueurs. Asbach Fire, spiced with cinnamon and chili, is rolling out now to travel retail.
According to Underberg, the new liqueur targets younger people who “like the taste of brandy and new creations”.
Serving suggestions include as a shot, aperitif, long drink or combined with sparkling wine.
Featuring a golden topaz colour, Asbach Fire is said to offer notes of cinnamon, hints of vanilla and chocolate, with a subtle vinous touch. Spicy sweetness on the palate and an “intense” taste of cinnamon combine with the spiciness and fire of chili, while vinous notes and a hint of wood offer a finish of cinnamon and chili, said the brand.
A one-litre bottle of Asbach Fire (30% ABV) is priced at €19,90.
Asbach Fire was first previewed at the last year’s TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes, along with the limited-edition 1989 vintage Asbach Freiheitsbrand (freedom brandy), created to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
