US. Passenger traffic at United Airlines (measured in revenue passenger miles) was 9.6 million in March, up +9.9% compared to the same month last year. This figure follows a +8.2% increase in February.
Especially encouraging to the travel retail industry was that passengers on Pacific routes were up +20.2% and passengers on trans Atlantic routes rose +15.7%. Passengers on North American routes increased +6.2% and those on Latin American routes were up slightly +2.9%.
